My Favorite Cookbook
วันนี้แปลกหน่อยนะคะ เพราะเดี๋ยวจะเขียนบล็อกเป็นภาษาอังกฤษสักวัน พอดีจะร่วมสนุกกับเว็บไซต์ เขาให้โชว์รูปตัวเองกับหนังสือทำอาหารที่ตัวเองชอบ ก็เลยแร่ดๆ แต๊ดแต๋เอากับเขาสักหน่อย พอดีเว็บมันเป็นของฝรั่ง เลยต้องเขียนบล็อกวันนี้เป็นภาษาอังกฤษ เผื่อใครคลิกหลงเข้ามาจะได้อ่านรู้เรื่อง (หรือเปล่า?)
อย่างน้อยก็รู้เรื่องกว่าภาษาไทยละเอ้า
I love cookbooks. Every time I go to a book store, the first section I always go to is cookbooks’. But to be honest, I don’t use recipes from cookbooks very often. Most of the time I cook what I already know how to. Anyway, here’s one of the cookbooks I like. It’s Tommy Tang’s Modern Thai Cuisine Cookbook. Since I live in US, sometimes it’s hard to find Thai ingredients for the dishes I wanna cook. This book is written by a Thai who lives in US, so he knows how to cook Thai food by using what he can find here. Most of his recipes are not authentic, of course. So, if you’re looking for an authentic Thai cookbook, this book may not be right for you.
PS. One down side of this book: Seems like he uses his own Thai seasoning or Thai sate marinade, which you can buy from his restaurant, often. So unless you are willing to buy or try mixing them yourself, you may not like this book as much as I do.
